NORDELPH BY NUMBERS
The most recent census, that of 2001, gives a statistical picture of our community -- although one that has already changed!
The population in 2001 was 375 -- 191 men, 184 women. Three were students away from home on census day. Censuses break these raw figures down by age as well as gender.

A table like this -- especially one where the age ranges aren't the same size -- makes it hard to get a picture of Nordelph: are we a retirement community? or a young one? That question is easier to answer if we look at how the population falls into decades; Nordelph emerges as a remarkably evenly-distributed community, with the largest group in 2001 being the teenagers!
