Bulb planting along Well Creek

We reported on plans for this in our March update. Nordelph was lucky enough to get some 40 crates of plants that were being forced for this year, but were surplus to requirements. These plants should therefore produce some blooms this year. The race was then on to get them planted before the snow and frost time. As you can see, the planters needed to be well wrapped up against the easterly winds!

We ended up with more people wanting bulbs than we could supply this time around. Hopefully this year’s display will encourage a few more to dig for Nordelph. We may be able to get some more bulbs now, if not in the autumn.
