Church Services

Nordelph Parish Church was at first a chapel of ease to St Peter's, Upwell and was founded in 1865. It was demolished in 2010 and you can read about the battles to save it in our pages as well as the story of the demolition which is illustrated with many photographs taken by villagers as the church came down.

The Nordelph Church building had an intriguing history, which is detailed on the excellent 'Norfolk Churches' website at www.norfolkchurches.co.uk/nordelph/nordelph.htm. Transcripts of baptismal records from Holy Trinity beytween 1865 and 1880 are available in our Nordelph Past section, or by clicking on the link.

In the absence of a dedicated place of worship, services are held in the Village Hall. Details of the church services and the Sunday readings for the period through to September 2011 can be found below.
