This page is the gateway to a growing collection of photographs. They've been selected by the photographers; in some cases because the image is a visually attractive one, in others because the photograph has some meaning for the photographer. To help you see these as photos, and not be burdened with the 'meaning', so that you can make up your own mind, the photograph initially displays by itself. When you've examined it, clicking once on the photo will reveal a paragraph of text written by the photographer that gives the 'gloss' that they want to put on the image.
Click on any of the thumbnails below to see a picture -- links will take you to the next or previous photos if you want to browse.
We would very much like contributions to this section. Although sending us digital photographs is possibly easier for you and for us, we'd be happy to mount ordinary paper prints if you're prepared to lend them to us for a short while. Contributions to the usual e-mail: info@nordelph.org please.
When sending photos, it helps if you recognise the limitations of the web. When posted on the site, the photos are re-sized to be 500 pixels wide (on the main pages) and 75 pixels high for the thumbnails (above). There's no point in sending anything larger than 500 pixels wide if you can easily re-size it yourself, but we're happy to do that for you if you don't have appropriate software. The best format is a medium-resolution JPEG -- most digital cameras use this format. And please remember to include the 'hidden text' that you'd like revealed when the viewer clicks on your photo!
