An early morning on a safari game drive in Kenya. These zebra seemed totally unaffected by our presence, and we suddenly realised that what was novel about this experience was that it was so completely reminiscent of an English autumn morning -- the 'mists and mellow fruitfulness' bit. It was impossible not to be capitivated by the image -- and to be delighted that the camera, which so often flattens such scenes to the point where you wonder why you'd photographed it, had faithfully recorded what it felt like.
