This was the first cheetah I had seen outside a zoo. She was searching for breakfast with two of her cubs and she later found a waterbuck. The photograph says everything to me about the experience: dawn light, red murrum earth tracks and the casual arrogance of the beast as she steps across in front of the jeep without a backward glance.
