Welcome to the Nordelph Community web site.

Forgive our indulgence in heading this update of our 'home page' with some seasonal cheer; it's been a long depressing Winter, and we felt that we needed a touch of Spring!
As we advised you in the last update, from this month this is the page you will be led to whenever you enter the website. There's new material as well in the 'Nordelph Past' and 'Nordelph Future' sections, which you can access by clicking on the appropriate tab above. Our 'Web Matters' section is unchanged, and describes the layout and structure of the new site, our policy on various issues, and how to get in touch with us.
In this section, you'll find the following new material this month. You can use the index to get there, or go directly from the links below. You can get back to this page by clicking on the 'Nordelph Present' tab again.
- Nordelph by numbers:
Three more pages of analysis of the 2001 Census. The link here takes you to the first new page, while the index link takes you to the 'master' page from which you can select any topic of interest. .
- Report on the Homewatch meeting on April 4th:
There's a follow-up meeting on April 18th at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. This link takes you to that report. It's also accessible from the index under the Parish Council master page
- More Frequently-asked questions:
Our tongue in cheek series continues with a wry look at travel. This link takes you directly to the new material; the index link takes you to the master page for 'Why Live Here?'.
- Road safety -- a salutory story
Frankly, we're unimpressed by Des Andrew's excuse for not supplying his analysis of the 1901 Nordelph Census -- being a seriously-injured victim of a hit-and-run accident in the village is just not being a team player! But seriously, click on this link (or use 'Road Safety?' in the index) to read the full story and see the pictures. And all of us wish Des a complete recovery.
